| Life at home recently got a bit more chaotic for GL's David Andrew Macdonald (Edmund): Last month, the actor and his wife, Nikki, made son Ian, 2, a big brother as they celebrated the birth of daughter Elena. "There's another kid running around with my genetic imprint!" he quips. "Another impressionable person to force my will upon!" Taking a more serious tone, Macdonald says that he is completely aware that Elena's arrival will alter his relationship with Ian. "It's a new dynamic," he allows. "I'll have to watch that and figure out how to keep Ian from feeling unincluded, which I'm sure can happen quite easily." To spend a little quality time with the toddler, the actor knows all he has to do is wander over to the bookshelf. "Ian's getting back into the phase where he wants us to read to him a lot," Macdonald reveals. "If Ian doesn't like the way you've been reading, he'll take the book away from you and pretend that he's reading. But he's just memorized a couple of pages and he'll play them until he loses his place, and then you can go back to reading!" |
