| In his not-so-distant past, David Andrew Macdonald (Edmund) spent
many hours in the Another World make-up chair, undergoing a transformation
into his scar-faced, time-traveler character, Jordan Stark. "I was the world's
most exfoliated man," he jokes about the high-grade adhesive used to hold
the prosthetic onto his face. "Taking it on and off and on and off, it looked
like I'd been skiing." Despite a bit of raw skin, Macdonald eventually grew
accustomed to his alter ego's disfigurement. "In the beginning, I was very
cautious about keeping my face to the wall when outside," Macdonald says.
"Then I got relatively confident. A school bus would drive by, and I'd wave
and the kids would freak!" It took the AW make-up staff nearly two hours to cover Macdonald's face with a latex prosthetic for his stint as Jordan Stark. |
