| Diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, David Andrew Macdonald (Edmund)
spent second and third grade at a special school to learn how to deal with
his reading problem. "Books would be played over earphones, and we'd follow
them along, learning different ways of breaking up the words," he explains.
His early education came full circle earlier this year when, shortly after
he began working with the International Dyslexia Association, the actor was
approached by Recordings For The Blind And Dyslexic about reading a book
for tape. "When I was at their New Jersey headquarters, I mentioned to someone
how I used to follow along with books on tape. He said that was probably
when they made the shift from recordings for the blind to recordings for
the blind and dyslexic, as well," he says. "It was interesting that some
