Animal Haven held an Adopt-A-Pet-Day at the Visitor Center in Times Square, NYC. Dogs and cats from Animal Haven shelter were on hand to meet and greet animal lovers and find new homes, with help from some celebrity friends. Petland Discounts was there to support Animal Haven and to help find good homes for these pets. Celebrities included Bebe Neuwirth (best known for her work as Lillith on TV’s Cheers and Frasier and stars in the Broadway Production Chicago) and Comedian Andrea Martin. Several Soap Opera stars including Anne Sayers (Mitzie Matters) from As The World Turns, David Andrew Macdonald (Edmund Winslow) from Guiding Light, Jonathan Bennett (JR Chandler) from All My Children and Christine Toy Johnson (formerly Lisa West) from One Life To Live joined in the fun as many dogs and cats found new, loving homes.
